Americarna – Thursday 20th February 2025 – we walk down to visit Summerset Mountain View Retirement Village to join into the Americarna celebrations.

Tryathlon @ Vogeltown School – 27th February 2025 – We will walk to Vogeltown School to participate in the annual pre school triathlon event hosted and run by Vogeltown School. We will return to kindergarten by public bus. 

Little Heart Day – 21st March 2025

Curriculum 

We will continue to have a rich oral language and literacy environment alongside te reo Māori language focus.

Raumati Term 1 will be a very busy term exploring the wonders of Metamorphosis with the Monarch and Cicadas. There will be lots of water play and exploration of sea life with sea week. We will visit Americarna cars at Summerset Mountain View & participate in the annual pre school Tryathlon at Vogeltown School. We will promote bike skills and road safety. Scott will teach our tamariki a haka during the week of the Te Matatini o Te Kāhui Maunga Kapa Haka Nationals. Then we embrace WOMAD with lots of music and dance. Later in the term we will have a focus on the Human Body with Little Heart Day.  

Scott and Lucy take over the ownership of Manu Kindergarten on the 01st of April 2025.
